Crane Data published its latest Weekly Money Fund Portfolio Holdings statistics Tuesday, which track a shifting subset of our monthly Portfolio Holdings collection. The most recent cut (with data as of March 15) includes Holdings information from 68 money funds (up 6 from two weeks ago), or $3.143 trillion (up from $2.778 trillion) of the $6.485 trillion in total money fund assets (or 48.5%) tracked by Crane Data. Our latest Weekly MFPH Composition summary shows Government assets dominating the holdings list with Treasuries totaling $1.468 trillion (up from $1.293 trillion two weeks ago), or 46.7%; Repurchase Agreements (Repo) totaling $1.158 trillion (up from $980.8 billion two weeks ago), or 36.9%, and Government Agency securities totaling $268.4 billion (up from $236.2 billion), or 8.5%. Commercial Paper (CP) totaled $77.0 billion (down from two weeks ago at $91.3 billion), or 2.5%. Certificates of Deposit (CDs) totaled $71.6 billion (down from $75.9 billion two weeks ago), or 2.3%. The Other category accounted for $68.6 billion or 2.2%, while VRDNs accounted for $30.8 billion, or 1.0%. The Ten Largest Issuers in our Weekly Holdings product include: the US Treasury with $1.468 trillion (46.7% of total holdings), Fixed Income Clearing Corp with $250.5B (8.0%), Federal Home Loan Bank with $207.3B (6.6%), the Federal Reserve Bank of New York with $125.0 billion (4.0%), RBC with $77.8B (2.5%), BNP Paribas with $77.2B (2.5%), JP Morgan with $76.4B (2.4%), Citi with $63.2B (2.0%), Federal Farm Credit Bank with $57.4B (1.8%) and Barclays PLC with $54.7B (1.7%).
