The blog'​s Jack Krupansky writes, "To be crystal clear, no retail money market fund is as Markman insists '​thinly veiled bets on the deteriorating mortgage market.' Not even close." Markman also makes the mistake of confusing brokerage sweep accounts, most of which are banks, with money market funds.
