Over 52 weeks, money funds have grown by an astounding $​481 billion, or 22%. While concerns continue over a liquidity crisis in mortage-​related asset-​backed securities, the "​flight-​to-​quality" assets come at a fortuitous time for money fund portfolios, helping to dilute any illiquid securities.
