Dreyfus joins Fidelity and Schwab in naming "AMT-Free" money funds that avoid investing in securities subject to the alternative minimum tax (AMT). Money Market Funds Closed Memorial Day; Most Closing Early Friday. All money market mutual funds will be closed on Monday, May 28, Memorial Day, along with the New York Stock Exchange and U.S. financial markets. On Friday, most will shut down early with noon being a popular close, though some will be operating normal hours.
